I wrote this song based on the well known phrase; Between the Devil and the Deep Blue sea, but I liked the sound of the word 'Betwixt' so put that in instead of Between.

The song itself is based around the idea of giving in to temptation, any sort of temptation has consequences and the easiest to use as an explanation would be a Lie, once you lie you have to tell more lies to cover yourself up, so you set yourself spiralling down a slope, once you've gone too far, there's no going back, so sit comfy and enjoy the ride.

"You've made your bed, now lie in it..." so to speak.
