This track is many things. I like to use it as my message to myself that every song I write is special. At one point it was a song that personified the process of my song writing. I had also written this for one of the many loved ones in my life who for whatever reason lost their love for me. So now, it's one of the favourites of my Mum, she loved the original & said that this newer version is equally as good.

I wanted to modernise it, but stick to the style I'd set in the earlier tracks for this album, so I stripped back my normal synth-heavy compositions and went full orchestral with a reliable bell synth that I've always used, just for good measure. Overall I'm happy with the way this turned out.

The complete loss of accompaniment after the bridge now brings tears to my eyes, the emotion in my voice is supporting the song at that point and I can finally hear what I wanted to say with the lyrics after all these years.
